Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum returns to the Dubai Autodrome on Friday when he competes in the Rotax Max Challenge.
Maktoum has missed the previous two rounds because he was competing in the Speedcar Series in Bahrain and Dubai.
He will now line up against the likes of Scott Latham, Ashraf Raza, Rami Azzam and Saeed Al Mehairi – the Dubai-based HSBC Racing Academy's newest recruit.
Al Mehairi will be making his first outing since he made his debut for the team in the Formula Academy Euro Series in Ledenon last month.
The Emirati impressed in France where he finished ninth and 11th, picking up two points.
"It was tough, but I knew what had to be done," Sheikh Hasher said shortly afterwards.
