For those who enjoy the adrenalin rush of motorsport, the Finnish town of Lahti will offer everything you need this weekend when it hosts the second leg of the UIM F1 H2O Championships.

The race is the most spectacular watersport in the world, described as driving a Formula One race car at full speed over a ploughed field. While Formula One Powerboats don’t quite match the acceleration of their counterparts on the F1 circuit, they are still capable of doing 0-100 kph in only four seconds.

The F1 Powerboat season consists of 10 races with 11 teams – including Team Abu Dhabi, winners in Portugal – and 29 drivers (from 14 different countries).
