Ones to watch

RICHARD WILLIAMS
The proudest father in SW19 will have split loyalties when his two daughters compete for the women's singles title at Wimbledon this afternoon. Venus is the reigning champion but Serena has looked powerful all week and should give her sibling a run for her money. Daddy Williams may have to pick up the pieces, but he knows what to expect after Serena won in 2002 and 2003.
ASAFA POWELL
The Jamaican sprinter is ready to race back to the top of the 100m after the breakthrough of compatriot Usain Bolt and Tyson Gay's fastest time last week. The speedster held the world record of 9.74 until Bolt's lightening run at the end of May and will be keen to signal his Olympic intent at the Rome Golden Gala this Friday.
CRISTIANO RONALDO
Will he or won't he? The most protracted transfer in the history of the game reaches its conclusion on Monday as the star is expected to announce his intentions to the world. Expect Sir Alex's face to turn an even deeper red.
SERGIO GARCIA
The affable Spaniard gets the chance to hone his skills for the British Open at Loch Lomond from Thursday. He should really be returning to the oldest Major as champion, but had to settle for second place at Carnoustie last year after losing a cruel play-off to Irishman Padraig Harrington. The Scottish Open course will provide the perfect preparation though.
MAKHAYA NTINI
The South African bowler did extremely well in the IPL and could be his country's secret weapon when they meet England in the first Test of the series, which starts at Lords on Thursday.
