Big Boi goes solo with Def Jam

After numerous delays, Big Boi's album Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty is close to seeing the light of day – on a new label. The rapper, who with Andre 3000 forms the collective Outkast, announced via Twitter he has signed a solo deal with Def Jam records. A representative for the label has confirmed the announcement.
