Singer Hijazi shuts down her restaurant

Amal Hijazi has reportedly shut down her downtown Beirut restaurant – less than a year after it opened.

Waleg.com reports that the Lebanese singer – who opened the eatery called Al Saifi last summer – was forced to shut it due to the fact it was not making a profit.

Although popular with celebs such as Nancy Ajram, it allegedly wasn't a hit with residents.
