When Shah Rukh met Shakira in South Africa

He may be India’s biggest star, but Shah Rukh Khan seems truly delighted at the prospect of meeting some of the global entertainment industry’s biggest names. The top Bollywood actor is all agog about having met Lebanese-Colombian bombshell Shakira in South Africa.

It looks like he enjoyed his encounter, even though it was little more than a fan encounter. “have never been more excited to meet a rockstar. the wife & daughter adore her...so do the father & son,” the actor posted on his Twitter account on Tuesday, accompanied by pictures of the meeting. “gorgeous gracious & absolutely heartwarming shakira. was so nice to the kids we r fans for life.”

And it seems it was his children who suggested the meeting. “the kids think of me as a big hero now,” he said in a post, thanking the singer for taking the time out to meet the Khan family.

What’s the opinion on Shakira, then? “she was so humble & so real. thats why she is such a rockstar. said my name with a beautiful accent too,” he said.
