UAE nationals in Thailand safe

Ambassador Sultan Muhammad Al Qirtasi, Director of the Department of Consular Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has confirmed the safety of UAE nationals in Thailand.

He added that the ministry is in constant touch with the UAE embassy in Bangkok in order to ensure the safety and security of UAE nationals there.

Mohammed Ali Omran Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Thailand, has also assured the safety of all UAE nationals in Thailand.

He pointed out that the embassy is in contact with the nationals and keep them posted directly and via text messages to ensure their safety.

Al Shamsi advised the citizens not to travel to Thailand at this moment especially in light of restrictions on movement in the streets of Bangkok.
