’90s boyband Boyzone to perform on May 22 in Dubai

Are you ready to face the heat in Dubai this summer with some ’90s chart-toppers?
'90s boyband sensations Boyzone will be drawing the Dubai outdoor concert scene to a close with their synonmous Irish charm in May, performing at the Dubai Tennis Stadium on the 22nd of the month.
Fresh from celebrating their 20th anniversary the quintessential Irish boy band will perform at Dubai, bringing with them a huge back catalogue of 19 UK top 40 hits.
In their heyday, Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Stephen Gately were among the most recognizable faces in music, rolling in hit after hit from their breakthrough cover version of the classic Osmonds’ hit, ‘Love Me for a Reason’ in 1995, to the likes of ‘Isn’t It a Wonder’, ‘Picture of You’, and ‘Baby Can I Hold You’, ‘No Matter What’, ‘When The Going Gets Tough’ and ‘When You Say Nothing At All’.
Their 1996 album ‘A Different Beat’ sold more than two million copies.
Seemingly at the peak at the turn of the century, the group split to pursue solo careers.
After agreeing to reform in 2008, tragedy struck just a year later when member Stephen Gately passed away.
The four remaining members of Boyzone toured again in 2013, to celebrate 20 years since the inception of the band, and now a year later are bringing the show to Dubai.
Tickets for the show, priced at Dhs225, are available now from Time Out Tickets.
