Only the brave dare to watch Sajid Khan’s ‘Himmatwalla’. While the film hasn’t made a mark at the box office windows, single theatre audiences seem to have lapped it up. The million dollar question remains what went wrong?
But Khan seems to have moved on. The latest buzz is that he is now planning a remake of ‘Angoor’ with Saif Ali Khan and Riteish Deshmukh.
Our sources confirm, “Director Rohit Shetty has purchased the rights of ‘Angoor’, so, he was quite furious with Sajid Khan.”
In a recent interview with us Khan had said, “I always wonder how journalists come to know something which we never even plan.
“Truly, speaking I never intended on remaking ‘Angoor’ at all. The reports are definitely not true.”
‘Angoor’ starred Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Varma.
