After 'Sheila', 'Chameli'... Katrina Kaif turns 'Afghan Jalebi'

Pakistani singer Syed Asrar Shah's career has taken a new twist in the form of Bollywood debut in Kabir Khan's 'Afghan Jalebi'

The makers of Kabir Khan-directed film 'Phantom', featuring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif, have released their first song titled, 'Afghan Jalebi'.

The young Pakistani musician created a sensation with his Coke Studio debut last year. His single 'Sub Aakho Ali Ali' made him a household name.

His subsequent tracks, ranging from the soulful 'Shakar Wandan Re' to the tongue-in-cheek 'Nasha Nasha', cemented his position as a musician to watch out for.

Asrar makes his Bollywood debut with 'Afghan Jalebi' that stars Katrina Kaif in a tavern full of revellers.

This time Kat is not dancing but is definitely showing us her moves! But that's anyway what she does best in every movie.

'Afghan Jalebi' will definitely cause a deja vu, as the set strangely resembles that of Kabir and Katrina's previous collaboration 'Ek Tha Tiger's' 'Masha Allah'.

Composed by Pritam the video also features Qazi Touqeer of Fame Gurukul fame, who lip-syncs the song while praising Katrina's allure.

Amitabh Bhattacharya, yet again justifies his lyrics as Katrina definitely looks stunning.

'Phantom' revolves around global terrorism and is based on the 26/11 Mumbai attacks of 2008.

It is slated to release on August 27 in the UAE.
