Aishwarya, Abhishek, Aaradhya join Amitabh's Sunday fan treat

The crowds that gathers outside Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan’s Juhu (Mumbai) home on Sundays for a glimpse of the megastar have only multiplied since the “6 pm wave-out” tradition began many years ago.

But this Sunday was a special treat for his loyal fans; Amitabh Bachchan was joined by his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and grand-daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

Wife Jaya Bachchan was missing from the Sunday action.

To everyone's delight Abhishek and Aishwarya waved at fans and greeted them.

Little Aaradhya looked perplexed trying to apprehend the deluge of people near her house.

Amitabh Bachchan posted the pictures on his Facebook fan page and wrote: "The Sunday well wishers had a bit of a surprise today... the little one came out too.."

"More crowds for the Sunday meet and a more bewildered Aaradhya ..! the thespian continued.

Amitabh Bachchan's home Jalsa in Mumbai is one of the city's most famous landmarks. Fans crowd around the house pretty much every day but every Sunday in particular, it's a special kind of gathering. As Big himself said on his Twitter page, "Every Sunday from 1982 of my accident in 'Coolie' to this day nonstop, the crowds and fans and well-wishers are here."

When the actor is in Mumbai and not filming, he steps out and waves to the screaming fans and interacts with them. It is a revered stop on any tourist’s first visit to the city — to see Amitabh wave out in the flesh is just the beginning of the Mumbai Bollywood ride!

Sometimes Amitabh Bachchan is joined by the other members of the household in this weekly ritual.
