Aishwarya has company; Mallika Sherawat is going to Cannes - again!

Last year at the 66th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, Indian actress (Really?) Millika Sherawat did enough to antagonise the entire Bollywood.

A failed actress, Mallika ripped her own country apart, calling it "regressive for women" and a "depressing" place to be.

The 36-year-old actress gave an interview at The Variety Studio in Cannes. What was more disturbing is the fact that Mallika criticised India cinema, which is making waves on the international platform, as far as quality cinema is concerned.

Mallika Sherawat's appearance on the Cannes red carpet year after year still remains a mystery.

While fashion critics have ripped her apart when it came to her horrible sense of style, we wonder what her contribution to Indian cinema is, forget international films.

Films or no films, Mallika has become a permanent visitor at the Cannes Film Festival (Regretable).

This year too, she will be making an appearance at the fest to inaugurate the Confederation of Indian Industry pavilion. She is also the speaker in the inaugural session.

We wonder what she will talk about the Indian film industry (Ignorance is no bliss).

Keeping in mind Miss Mallika's previous outings at the fest, we are expecting some outrageous outfits and some outrageous comments in an equally outrageous accent of hers, yet again.

Sherawat will be a speaker at the inaugural session ‘Indian Cinema: Opportunities & Synergies with Global Cinema’ along with H.E. Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, Indian Ambassador to France and Mr Ashok Amritraj, Hollywood Producer & Chairman, CII Cannes Initiative.

The 67th annual Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to be held from 14 to 25 May 2014.

This will be Mallika’s 5th consecutive here at Cannes and she will also soon be seen in CBS series.
