Ajay Devgn, Kareena, Arjun Rampal join hands with Amitabh Bachchan...

One of the most awaited films of the year, 'Satyagraha– Democracy Under Fire', starring Kareena Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, is all set to release in August.

The first trailer of the film was released in Mumbai.

Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpai, Amrita Rao and Prakash Jha were present at the venue, while Kareena and Ajay joined the launch via video conference from London.

Earlier there were reports that 'Satyagraha' is based on the Indian activist Anna Hazare’s recent protest against corruption.

But director Prakash Jha cleared the air at the event and said that 'Satyagraha' is not based on Anna Hazare’s movement.

However, Jha pointed out that the process of the film was based on Gandhi. In the film, Bachhchan is playing a pivotal character who believes in the truth who will stand for it and is ready to sacrifice for it.
