Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor or Anushka - Bollywood blondes?

The young Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt made her debut in her mentor Karan Johar's coveted chat show 'Koffee With Karan 4'.

Karan not only had her spilling the beans on her career and love life, but inadvertently trained some spotlight on her general knowledge too. Or the lack of it.

Along with her 'Student of the Year' co-stars Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, Alia had some really fun moments in the show till she had to at the Koffee Quiz segment.

The segment was shocking and full of dumb blonde moments from Alia - nothing for us to call her the student of the year.

Alia Bhatt's general knowledge clearly is very poor. During the buzzer round, Karan asked who is the President of India to which Varun Dhawan asnwered 'Manmohan Singh' (the Prime Minister) and Alia asnwered 'Prithviraj Chauhan' (a state Chief Minister).

And Alia is a serial offender. Ones proving her GK is poor was not enough, she came for the second time to do so.

When Alia came on the show with contemporary Parineeti Chopra, Karan asked the two ladies the full form of BJP (the principal opposition party in India), Parineeti promptly replied with Bhartiya Janta Party, while Alia did nothing else but sheepishly smiled at Karan. Back to basics Alia!

ANUSHKA SHARMA:

Then comes the very talented Anushka Sharma who was no better than Alia Bhatt.

Her shocking lip job was the talking point of the episode and so was her relationship with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. But even her lip couldn't divert us from her inexcusable lack of knowledge.

Host Karan Johar told Anushka Sharma that she just had an "Alia moment" on the show when she got the answer wrong for who the 'Chief Minister of Maharashtra is'.

When asked to name the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Anushka blurted the wrong answer, "Ashok Chavan" (who is a former CM).

SONAM KAPOOR:

Sonam Kapoor is the new torch bearer and has joined the league of celebrities with low (or zero) general knowledge.

The actress made quite a few appalling statements, including the fact that she is an icon.

But the most appalling bit was her general knowledge.

When she came on the show with her father Anil Kapoor, Sonam also had her blonde moment when Karan asked to name the person who said "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind", Sonam Kapoor quickly responded with "Robert De Niro" while the correct answer was Mahatma Gandhi!

This one maybe tops the list of the shocking goof-ups on 'Koffee With Karan'.

Leave it to Sonam Kapoor to give some interesting comments on the film industry. She said "people think you need to look like you're from the village. Just because you look ordinary and act loud doesn't mean you're a good actor". When asked about her opinion on how people think she is a fashion icon but not an actress, Sonam said that people believe "If you're not good looking, they think you're a good actor".

Post her appearance, ‘Sonam’s Selfie Song’ has gone viral on the internet.

The video has a funny remix of her use of words; tone and the ‘accent’ that Sonam used while she was the guest with her father Anil Kapoor on ‘Koffee With Karan’.

The spoof video released by ‘Being Indian’ Youtube channel has Sonam’s pictures from her Twitter and Instagram account running as the video with her ‘You Know What I Mean’ playing in remixed version.

It seems Sonam's entire episode was full of blonde moments.
