Amitabh-Jaya Bachchan to romance again

After 11 years the Bollywood couple Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan to reunite together in Shootjit Sircar's next.

Their last movie together was 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham', where Big B and Jaya Bachchan played husband and wife.

Sircar's movie is intensely romantic films about an aged couple who have spent half their life together as husband and wife. The movie revolves around the couple at the far end of their life and they are certain that one of them would go before the other. After spending 35 years together, how one-half of the marital pair prepares to face a spouse-less existence is the base of the story said director Shoojit Sircar to Mumbai Mirror.

Sircar has been in talks with the Bachchans and making frequent trips to visit them. The script is ready for the movie to hit the production floor.

Sircar spent two years working with Amitabh Bachchan on 'Johnny Mastana' which still remains unreleased.

Big B and Jaya were seen in films like 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham', 'Abhimaan', 'Zanjeer', 'Chupke Chupke', 'Sholay', and 'Silsila'.
