The actor clarifies the need to get bold with Shruti Hassan onscreen in ‘D Day’.

Arjun Rampal and Shruti Haasan’s sizzling onscreen chemistry in ‘D Day’ have gotten a lot of eyeballs already for the film. Arjun who doesn’t shy away from playing the onscreen Romeo clarifies how his reel-life chemistry with the actress drives the plot forward.

“Well, my part is that of an undercover agent who is sleeping with a prostitute. That too happens for a reason and is organically developed. A relationship develops between both of us which is very endearing,” shares the actor.

Both are portraying bold roles in the film, Arjun takes it up as a challenge as he shares, “The unique thing about the two of us is that while we are in different professions, we are here just to do some plain and simple business.”

Nikhil Advani’s ‘D Day’ also stars Huma Qureshi, Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor in pivotal roles that are as important to the plot as the duo’s onscreen chemistry.
