Asin and husband Rahul Sharma welcome their first child

Bollywood and south film industry’ actress Asin delivered a baby girl. Asin is married to the hotshot mobile company owner Rahul Sharma. Rahul is the co-founder of the cellphone brand Micromax. Interestingly in her debut Hindi film Asin played a girl who falls in love with a mobile company owner.

“We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl. The last 9 months have been most special and exciting for the both of us and We would like to thank all our well-wishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support,” was the message sent out by the couple to the media.

Asin and Rahul married in January 2016 after Akshay Kumar- Asin’s hero in her film London Dreams introduced the two to each other. Interestingly Akshay posted a picture of him with their daughter.

Asin has worked in films like Ghajini, Ready, London Dreams and Bol Bachchan in Bollywood.
