The ‘bring back’ Pratyusha Banerjee campaign seems to be wilting as more fans of Star’s hit Indian daily soap ‘Balika Vadhu’ are slowly accepting the new lead Toral Rasputra as ‘Anandi’.
However, a large number of Prats fans remain vociferous – here on this site as well across the Indian online mediascape.

‘Balika Vadhu’ which epitomizes the story of child marriage and several fall-outs of such a wed lock disappointed many when they signed in a new lead Toral.
The female protagonist initially played by Avika Gor was replaced by Prats when the serial took a leap but due to personal reasons three years later she quit the show only to be replaced by Toral.
The character etched out in the minds of the audience slowly fades making way for the new romance between the new Anandi aka Toral and Shiv aka Siddharth Shukla.
