If controversy is the name of the game, could actor and self-proclaimed box-office critic, Kamaal R Khan, be far behind?

The ‘Deshdrohi’ actor took to Twitter on Thursday to make some candid confessions, which included paying for female escorts during his lifetime.

In a volley of tweets, which he has since deleted, Khan talked about such indiscretion in Indonesia and Hong Kong, confessing to paying up to $5,000 for a rendezvous.

He said: “Once I paid $500 to a boy in Indonesia to take his girlfriend to stay with me for a night at Shahid Hotel in Jakarta.”

In the next tweet he elaborated further: “Once I had paid *** in Hong Kong where I paid US$ 5000 to an Indian Spanish girl.”

He continued: “There is not a single millionaire man in this world who never had paid ***. But yes many of them will not have courage to speak truth.”

Khan shot to the limelight in 2008 when his film ‘Deshdrohi’ became the surprise hit with the masses.

Since then he has been controversy’s favourite poster child, with Twitter wars with former adult movie star and now Bollywood actress Sunny Leone, and industry stalwarts such as Karan Johar and comedian Kapil Sharma.

Khan is certainly a man that cannot be ignored by Bollywood, with even acting legend Amitabh Bachchan endorsing the actor’s efforts by launching his website, KRK Box Office, last month in Mumbai.

Khan’s most recent turf wars have created a lot of fodder for the media, with the most recent one with comedian Sharma, with the former tweeting: “I asked Kapil to invite me on ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ because I want to see whether he has guts to even touch me at his own show as he can’t come to beat me at home.”

He further said: “Actually this is the truth of Kapil Sharma on his show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ he treats people like animals.”
