Bollywood Buzz: Akshay's voice... over?
Akshay Kumar did a voice over for the film Jumbo by Percept and the film sank faster than the Titanic. Akshay now lends his voice and his weird laughter to a mobile brand, which does not really benefit much from that voice. Still someone there thinks that his voice is good enough to carry films on its own and hence the makers of the Transformers Dark of the Moon have requested Khiladi Kumar to dub for the character of Optimus Prime in the film. When Akshay is not able to salvage his own films, one wonders how he will be able to salvage other movies.
Ekta Kapoor's week
Ekta Kapoor had a good time in the week gone by.
On the same day she launched her TV serial Bade Achhe Lagte Hain on Sony TV which eponymously is a very show starring Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. The show has bene getting rave reviews from men and women alike and is being touted as one of the best from the Kapoor camp.
Add to that Ekta winning the game of one-upmanship over another entertainment major UTV.
While Kapoor started shooting her film Dirty Picture the same day her Tv show went on air, Madhur Bhandarkar begins shooting this week for his Aishwarya Rai film for UTV. While Vidya Balan has had a lot of time to prepare for her role in the film, Ash has plunged headalong into Heroine sans any preparation.
