Kareena to be paid Dh2.4m for 'Heroine'?

'Heroine' seems to be in controversy more than the actual heriones in the industry. Madhur Bhandarkar has seen more trouble than he could handle for one movie.

First Kareena Kapoor dropping out of the project, than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gets pregnant; and now Kareena comes back again with a whooping demand of Dh7.9m remuneration. She finally settles for Dh6.3m. Now the latest is that Madhur has convinced her to settle her fees at Dh2.4m as reported by Shabbir Ali.

If this is true, then it could well be a relief for Madhur and slap in the face of his detractors. Madhur was unavailable for comments.

It remains to be seen if Madhur will have his way and finally get started with his dream project.

Bipasha's tweets tweaked!

Bipasha Basu’s praises and tweets about Ranbir Kapoor caught her on the wrong foot.

Eyebrows were raised when recently Bips saw Ranbir’s Rockstar promo and went gaga about it.  Media reported that Bips, now single, is ready to mingle with the Kapoor kid and is all out to woo him.

Bipasha hit back at reports saying it is 'bizarre'. Bipasha tweeted, “Woke up to a news report that says 'Am wooing Ranbir'! Bizarre! Just because I love 'Rockstar' trailer and I tweeted about it!"

The rumours of their link-up were doing the round when the two featured in Bachna Ae Haseeno in 2008. The two supposed to have shared a good equation during the making of the film. Oour lover-boy Ranbir was dating Deepika back then.

Bhandarkar returns in 'fashion'

After all the hullabaloo and all 'yes' and 'no' that Madhur Bhandarkar had to face for his 'Heroine', there is finally some good news. He is planning for a sequel of Fashion.

Now that the Kareen's money matter has been resolved,(We hope so!) and all the roadblocks have been cleared Bhandarkar started with his next project, Fashion Part 2.

The 2008 blockbuster, Fashion,  marked the debut of Bhandarkar's production house. After the film won critical acclaims, Bhandarkar and UTV's head honcho Ronnie Screwvala were both keen on making te second part. They have decied to launch the second part to Fashion in 2012.

Priyanka's presences has not yet been finalised. Bhandarkar will zero down on a few names and then shortlist them. Are we about to see a new chapter of controversy from the Bhandarkar camp?
