After making a critically acclaimed and successful directorial debut with 'Taare Zameen Par', actor Aamir Khan is contemplating another stint behind the camera.

Bollywood Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan has finally approved of a script.

However Khan, who is currently busy with the promotions of the Reema Kagti directed ‘Talaash’, has his plate full.

Khan is not only working on Yash Raj film ‘Dhoom 3’, but he has also committed to Raj Kumar Hirani to work on his film ‘Peekay’.

After that, he embarks in search of the truth yet again when he returns with his second season of his television show ‘Satyamev Jayate’.

Talking about the script Aamir said, "I like the story a lot".

The script has been penned by another writer who had come up to Khan asking him to produce the film which can be directed by someone else.

But Aamir was impressed by the narration and he decided that he should be directing this one for sure. “When Aamir patiently heard the script, he was visualising each frame and knew that this was a movie he wanted to do and be a part of as a filmmaker,” says a source close to Khan.

The actor liked the script so much that he is even considering producing the film. But then acting and anchoring comes first.

Aamir has asked the writer to wait before his commitments are over and then he would get back to direction.

Aamir was always known as a ghost director for his films and became a director after he threw out director Amole Gupte from the film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and made him into a creative director, becoming director himself.

Aamir then made a film that warmed the cockles of the heart of the reviewers and the cinegoers as well. And now it is time for a film which he can call his own completely as a director.

Surely, he needs to make the monies as an actor or anchor, before spending them as a producer.

Aamir's 'Talaash' releases on November 30, stars Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in the lead.
