Bollywood's siblings celebrate brother-sister bond

Bollywood celebrities too, are set to enjoy the fervor of this special festival of Raksha Bandhan. The festival is celebrated with great style and flamboyance by various brother-sister duos of Bollywood.

Kareena and Ranbir Kapoor: Being first cousins and that too Kapoors, Kareena and Ranbir have displayed their impeccable capacity in their respective film careers. It was rumoured that Kareena and Ranbir were quite reluctant to play couple on-screen, since they share a brother-sister relationship, but the two might be seen together as siblings on-screen in near future.

Shweta Bachchan is the lesser known Bachchan, compared to brother Abhishek who has established himself as well known film actor alongside Bollywood legend father Amitabh Bachchan. It is fair to say that both siblings have a legacy to live up to. Schweta Bachchan has worked as a presenter for a TV show and apart from that she is a full time mother. Speaking about her brother Abhishek sister said: “I was a proud sister even when he was struggling. He had to wait for his career to come together, and it wasn’t easy. He handled himself with dignity. And when I saw him in Guru I was left speechless. I can’t do justice in words to my feelings about his performance . What I can say is that after the movie was done I had to be reminded I was watching my brother.”

Soha and Saif Ali Khan: Saif and Soha, star kids from the Pataudi family, resemble a lot to each other and that’s not all, this duo shares quite a lovely relationship with each other. Both chose to join the film industry, but their career graphs went separate ways. Saif has managed to carve a niche for himself, while Soha, still has a long way to go. They are yet to share the screen together, hope that day comes real soon.

Farhan and Zoya Akhtar: Siblings Farhan and Zoya, have been truly lucky to have emerged as the choice of today’s youth. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, followed his brother, to venture into the arena of direction, where his brother is a pro. And, two films down the line, she’s touted to be one of the biggest things Bollywood has to offer to the world of cinema. While brother Farhan’s acting career seems to be just going up the graph.

Tusshar and Ekta Kapoor: Ekta and Tusshar are one of the most famous brother duos in Indian entertainment industry. As a sister, the Queen of soaps and now a well-known producer, Ekta has always tried to support and promote her brother. Ekta has recently produced the sequel to her 2008 film ‘Kya Kool Hain Hum’ which also stars her brother.

Dabangg hottie Sonakshi Sinha has twin brothers for company at home. Luv did not enjoy his sister's success when his debut film Sadiyaan released in 2010. Twin Kush has not faced the camera yet.

Farah and Sajid Khan: Farah & Sajid have shown to the world, how not to let success affect a relationship. Both are successful in their respective ways and have churned out quite a few hits in the past, some of them being – ‘Housefull’, ‘Main Hoon Na’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’. While sister Farah has now donned a new hat and will be seen as a leading lady in ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’.
