Bollywood stars seek divine intervention

The whole of Bollywood has taken a break from its choc-o-block schedule.
Eid will be followed by a clutch of other festival occasions, reaching a climax with Diwali next month.
The stars have descended to worship their deities.

Big B celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi
Amitabh Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty with her husband Raj Kundra and Rahul Roy with wife Rajlaxmi visited Lalbagcha Raja in Mumbai to offer their prayers to Ganesha during the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi festival in the city.
Amitabh Bachchan came to seek Ganesha's blessings with singer-composer Shankar Mahadevan.
With a new baby on its way in the khandan, grandpa Amitabh Bachchan seems to be offering his prayers for health, both for Aishwarya and the baby.
Shilpa and Raj looked happy to be a part of the celebrations. Shilpa who will be back on screen with her latest, 'The Desire', seems to asking the Lord for some extra blessings.

Bipasha offers prayers
Day 5 of Ganapati and it was Bipasha Basu's turn to seek blessings from the deity. Traditionally clad Bipasha headed to Lalbaugcha Raja on Monday.
Accompanying the actress was Sonu Nigam. Braving the crowd at Lalbaug, Mumbai, Bipasha even participated in the evening prayer. Sonu Nigam offered his prayers to Ganesha through a microphone.

Katrina visits shrine in Fatehpur
Actress Katrina Kaif on Monday visited the shrine of Sheikh Salim Chisti to offer prayers and untie a sacred thread. Katrina had earlier tied the sacred thread during a shooting of her forthcoming film ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’.
Dressed in a black suit and green scarf, Katrina arrived very early at the dargah.

This was the third time she visited the shrine. With her upcoming movie Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Katrina wants nothing to go wrong.

Deepika Padukone visits Ajmer Shariff
Deepika Padukone followed her contender Katrina Kaif and also paid a visit to Ajmer Shariff to seek the blessings of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti shrine.
Dressed in a simple salwar kameez and with a cane basket with a chaddar and flowers on her head, Deepika walked to offer her prayers.
The reason behind her visit to Dargah is unknown.
After delivering a series of flop Deepika truly needs the blessings of God. Only divine intervention can save her dropping career graph.
Her upcoming releases are ‘Desi Boyz’ and ‘Cocktail’.

Ajay Devgan and family visits Ajmer Shariff
Ajay Devgan and Kajol with their two children visited Ajmer Sharrif recently. Ajay carried a basket with flowers and chaddar to offer to the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer.

Kajol’s mother Tanuja also accompanied them and she revealed that they visited Ajmer Shariff to seek the blessing for the success of Ajay’s upcoming film, ‘Rascals’.
