BIGG BOSS: Will Salman stay away from politics?

Controversial activist and cartoonist Aseem Trivedi is on the brink of eviction from the reality show Bigg Boss following an expression of outrage from a less known political party in India.

The party is upset about the inclusion of the artist in the reality TV show which airs on Colors daily.

Aseem was arrested on grounds of sedition with non-bailable warrant due to his revolutionary depiction of Indian politics and politicians through his cartoons.

It was alleged that the activist had insulted various national symbols through his art.

The political party has officially expressed their objection to Colors TV and asked them to look into the matter of his inclusion.

According to the party, he has no right to national fame through the show after mocking  politicians. They believe the show will give leverage to Aseem's belief and his way of thinking.

Reportedly the channel was given a deadline to take him off the show. The channel on their part has promised the party to take “appropriate positive measures.”

Aseem is one of the 12 contestants remaining in Bigg Boss out of the original 15. This week Aseem is one of the four nominated contestants who could be evicted coming Friday through viewer’s voting.

Although the contestants did not vote for him, his nomination comes as a surprise camouflaged with punishment for a mistake he did not commit.

Two other members in the house model Karishma Kotak and stylist Sapna Bhavnani violated the rules by removing their cordless mic. And as a punishment Navjot Singh Sidhu along with Aseem were forced to face the brunt.

Mastermind Bigg Boss has very cleverly played his cards. We won't be surprised if Aseem is evicted following the complaint by the political party and his surprise nomination.

Chances for Aseem being the chosen one to leave the house are more as Bigg Boss has thrown another surprise, taking a call to evict two contestants this week.

Now we cannot be sure that this is a direct influence of the complaint filed by the political party but these surprises in the house does indicate that the channel is cowering under  pressure.

But will Bollywood star and host Salman Khan extend a helping hand? One should know that Salman is only the host of the show and has no role in the selection or the eviction process.

Reportedly Salman has supported other contestants in the house previously so the 'Dabangg' star might play the mediator for the artist too.

Or else Aseem’s stay in the house is numbered.
