OMG! It's a girl for Akshay and Twinkle

Heavily pregnant Twinkle Khanna was rushed to hospital as she went into labour.

Akshay Kumar, who's new film 'Oh My God' releases on 28th September, rushed home from Jaipur last evening saying wife Twinkle had gone into labour.

Proud father Akshay Kumar said in a statement: "We are blessed with a lovely baby girl who looks just like her mother and grandmother and I have no words to express my happiness - I would like to thank everyone for their blessings and best wishes."

Now the couple has good news to share with fans as they welcome a baby girl into their family of three.

The Bollywood couple has a son called Aarav who is 10 years old.

Twinkle delivered in the wee hours in a local hospital in Mumbai and her family was by her side as she went into the labour. After hours of labour pain it was a normal delivery.

Twinkle Khanna has been having a difficult second pregnancy and was advised rest by her doctor.

She was unable to participate in the funeral services of her father, actor Rajesh Khanna who died on 18th July, because of her pregnancy.
