Payback time for Salman Khan? Katrina gets SUV

Now we know why Katrina keeps mum even when she is insulted by Salman Khan during a press conference in front of an audience. After all, not everyone gets a SUV on their birthday from the beefy actor himself.

If rumours doing the rounds of Bollywood are to be believed, Salman Khan gifted former girlfriend and current co-star of 'Ek Tha Tiger' Katrina Kaif an SUV on her birthday last week when she turned 28.

Although the actress spent the day quietly shooting in Mumbai, she did accompany a few people in the evening to a restaurant in Bandra.

However, she headed to Galaxy apartment to Salman's residence to have a late dinner with Salman, his parents and his sister Arpita.

Katrina's birthday is one occasion when she does not want to attract any attention given what happened when Salman threw a bash in her honour a few years ago.

For the uninitiated, host Salman and guest Shah Rukh Khan were engaged in a verbal war followed by a brawl. The duo had to be separated by Aamir Khan and even Gauri had to intervene. Ever since then the two Khans have been embroiled in a cold war.
