Saif Ali Khan copies Salman's 'superhero'?

Published

A few days ago, Salman Khan made his 'superhero' aspirations public. Now, it is Saif Ali Khan's turn to relive his childhood passion. The Nawab of Pataudi will turn superhero for Bhushan Kumar's next production, directed by Milan Luthria.

The crew will start shooting for the film in 2013 and the filmmakers were looking for a 'superhero' who can make people laugh. Saif seemed to be the ideal choice due to his perfect comic timing, as his fans have seen in Dil Chahta Hai.

The film promises a lot of action, adventure, suspense, comedy and music - in short, a typical Bollywood bonanza.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan will soon appear on the big sceen in his super hero avatar. Sallu will have shoulder long tresses (which will have special powers) in Sohail Khan directed film ‘Sher Khan’.

Sher Khan will be a big budget film as the visual and special effects will alone cost the filmmakers Rs100 crore, which is not big deal in a Salman-starrer since it is bound to earn back three times more money once it releases.

Bollywood superheroes

Here's a list of Bollywood heroes who have shown some super abilities, an appropriate noble moniker and dashing looks. But greatness, among all other things.

Hrithik Roshan as Krrish

This actor has got every quality to be called as the ultimate Bollywood superhero. His Greek God look is everyman's envy. He can dance with every muscle in his body. Show some power, throw a punch and smitten the lovely ladies.

Krrish and its sequels re-introduced superhero to Bollywood.

Shah Rukh Khan in Ra.One

Our King of Bollywood has finally decided to don the garb of superhero. His latest Ra.One has garnered huge response from both fans and critics. The superstar rules the Bollywood and the heart of millions with his charm. After the first promo where we had a glimpse of his 8-pack and blue eyes fans now want more of this superhero.

Anil Kapoor as Mr India

Our Mr India, Anil Kapoor, can be the last one you will expect as a superhero. But by far he is the most endearing of all. An ordinary looking man granted powers by scientific experiment. The desi invisible superhero won hearts by becoming the Messiah of the poor.

Amitabh Bachchan in Shahhenshah

Our original "angry young man" Amitabh Bachchan played quite a few superhero roles. He went the whole hog with an eye mask, metal shield and a grand superhero outfit. But most famous of them was his silver hair-metal shield role as Shahhenshah. At the age of 46 Amitabh performed spectacular stunts and stunned his audiences.

Abhishek Bachchan in Drona

Well this superhero flick went dud at the box-office. Abhishek Bachchan with the load of saving the world from evil could not save his film. Even Priyanka Chopra's presence as Abhishek's sexy bodyguard was rejected by audience. The movie had some action and amazing stunts. Abhishek definitely had some guts doing a superhero flick so early in his career.
