Farhan-Aditya use Twitter to quash rumours

It does seem that stars do use Twitter and other social media handles to not just pass on the message to their fans, but also to communicate to others in the media business including journalists.

Recently Mumbai newspapers carried a story of a fight between Farhan Akhtar and Aditya Kapoor.

It was alleged that Farhan was miffed with Shraddha’s closeness with ex-boyfriend Aditya Roy Kapoor and hence got into a brawl with him at the 30th anniversary of Vishesh Films. Aditya and Shraddha were posing along with the Aashiqui team of Anu Agarwal and Deepak Tijori. Rahul Roy was missing in the picture.

Farhan and Aditya got a chance to party together at Bollywood’s new dad, Karan Johar’s house on Saturday night.

Farhan took the opportunity to click a picture and post on his account. "And that, as they say, is RIP rumours,” he captioned it with hashtags that went #lastnight #chilltimes.

What really prompted Farhan and Aditya to take this picture is interesting.

While Shraddha Kapoor is serious about Farhan after his divorce from Adhuna, Aditya is pretty serious about Katrina Kaif, though the girl hasn’t still waved the green flag.

It was rather important for the two men to send out soft signals at this time as Farhan has allegedly been overtly possessive about his girl who was Aditya’s heroine in Aashiqui 2.
