Are the Kapoors and Bachchans patching up?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's baby shower is the talk of the town nowadays. The galaxy of stars that came down at Jalsa (Bachchan residence) in Mumbai to bless Ash saw many family members and friends from the Bollywood fraternity.

As the stars came in to grace the occasion, the media spotted Babita Kapoor, the mother of Karisma and Kareena Kapoor. That was sure an eye catcher for the shutter bugs. Babita's presence at the baby shower may be an indication that the relationship between the two royal families of Bollywood, the Kapoors and the Bachchans, are now on the mend.

The story of friction between the two families is a known fact. The differences emerged when Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor, who were engaged to get married, broke all ties. The Kapoor family came out and expressed their regret.

Then on there was little love left between the families. Now that could very well be said as a story of the past. Karisma moved on to marry Delhi based businessman Sanjay Kapur and Abhishek found his soul mate in Aishwarya.

Babita's presence in Aishwarya's baby shower speaks volumes. They have finally decided to put all that bad feeling behind and let bygones be bygones.
