Late filmmaker Yash Chopra presented the most endearing and charming side of a Bollywood heroine and such was the brilliance of the man that he made us all fall in love with his movies.

Yash Chopra showcased beauty like no one else. He presented the most endearing and charming side of a heroine in Bollywood.

He made them look like a timeless diva on screen. Be it the love-struck Rakhee in 'Kabhie Kabhie' or the woman Rekha who desires to win the man of her life in 'Silsila'. Be it the vivacious Sridevi in 'Chandani' or the bold heroine of 'Lamhe'.

Yash Chopra's last film 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' will have a grand premiere as announced by his family. The gala affair will see the leading ladies of all Yash Chopra's films.

The event which is scheduled for November 12 is organised to pay tribute to the late director. The who's who of the film fraternity is expected to come for the premiere. In order to fulfill Yash Chopra's wish, the cast of 'JTHJ' will begin the promotions from the filmmaker's hometown - Jalandhar, Punjab.

While the nineties was the decade of poor hairstyles, garish make- up and major fashion blunders, the Yash Raj ladies seemed under the influence of a magic wand. They wore super stylish clothes, easy hair- dos and minimal make- up, keeping it classic.

“ It’s my duty to present women beautifully...”

That’s what the late Yash Chopra said when asked about his heroines. The golden rule of beauty and fashion— Less is more, was probably invented by the Yash Raj heroine.
