Deepika Padukone is 'rarely satisfied’

Deepika Padukone is being lauded for her work in ‘Cocktail.’ However, this is one actress who has an everlasting hunger to achieve new heights. Deepika says, “I am rarely ever satisfied with my own work. I always drive to strive better, be it films, performance, my diet, anything. I am not very easily content, so I keep pushing.” And who is she competing against? “I am my own benchmark, be it for my films or anything else. I always want to improve from my previous works and be better.”

Towards achieving this goal, Deepika who has won accolades as the confident and bold Veronica in ‘Cocktail,’ wants to try her hand at action. She says, “I am dying to do action as I always wanted to do that. I am just waiting for the right opportunity. ‘Race 2’ has a lot of action, but I am not doing it.”

Apart from ‘Race 2,’ she has a love story on her plate, ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani,’ with Ranbir Kapoor and ‘Kochadaiyaan’ with Rajnikanth.
