Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut seems to love challenges of any kind coming her way. Be it opting for many dark and intense roles or accepting the role of a brand ambassador for a sport she has no clue about.
Kangana was in Dubai along with Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Suniel Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha among many others. The bevy of Bollywood stars descended in Dubai to promote the Celebrity Cricket League, scheduled to be held in Sharjah early next year.
Along with Kangana, Sonakshi and Genelia D’souza are the brand ambassador for Mumbai Heroes lead by skipper Suneil Shetty.
Emirates 24|7 asked Kangana about the game of cricket, “To be honest I don’t know much about cricket.”
When asked how she feels about the fact that Mumbai Heroes has chosen a historic venue like Sharjah which enters into Guiness’ record book for holding record number of matches she said, “Oh! Is it? I don’t know about this.”
It seems studious Kangana never got the time to play sports.
“I was a science student, so I never got much time to play. I used to study 19 hours a day.”
Well Kangana doesn’t seem to have time even now from her Blackberry to respond to reporters properly.
Well if you play with Kangana in your team, you need to be careful, because Kangana can get u ‘run-out’.
Though Kangana seems ignorant about the brand she is endorsing, she is all set to give her full support to Mumbai Heroes.
She made no fuss about the fact she has little knowledge about the game and you have to give it to the girl for being this honest in this world of make up.
When asked on which song she will dance for her team from the stands she said, “I think I will dance on Salman’s ‘Mein karu toh sala character dhila hai’ from the movie ‘Ready’. It’s a very catchy number.”
So Sharjah stadium will see the upbeat mood of Kangana as she sure will bring that extra spice on field as she does on screen.
