After a period where his films haven’t fared so well, Anurag Kashyap  has now decided to go slow on production and release his films more  gradually than originally planned.

Anurag was planning to release eleven of his movies this year, which  is not the best of plans one could have had. However, after the poor  showing by films like Rani Mukherji’s ‘Aiyya’ and Bedabrata’s  ‘Chittagong’and a not-so-healthy response to the foodie film ‘Luv Shuv  Tey Chicken Khurana,’Kashyap has realized that the hype that ‘Gangs of  Wasseypur’ created, drawing in audiences, hasn’t been matched by his  other movies.

Now, his big film being made in conjunction with Ekta Kapoor has been  pushed to next year.

The film in question, ‘Lootera,’ starring Ranveer Singh and Sonkashi  Sinha, which is being directed by Vikramadita Motwane, will release in  the summer of 2013.
