It's official; no one will shoot Yash Chopra's swansong in the snow covered mountains of Switzerland.

No one from the Yash Raj stable wants to touch a single frame of 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', especially since it has acquired a new significance after the passing away of the 'King of Romance'. The family would like to keep the movie exclusive to Yash Chopra and not adulterate it by allowing another director to step in.

There have been speculations about who might complete Yash Chopra's shoot for the last song of 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'. Reports suggested that it could be either Chopra's elder son Aditya Chopra or close family friend Karan Johar.

Bollywood's ace director Karan Johar was ready to step in and help in completing the movie but Aditya did not want anyone to add their own vision to his father's final piece of work.

The lead actor of the film, Shah Rukh Khan, confirmed in an interview to Indian daily Hindustan Times that they will not shoot the last song at all.

The movie will be wholly and solely Yash Chopra's and since the song has been recorded it will now be played in the background. Some of the scenes will be used from what Yash Chopra already shot.

Shah Rukh said there is an “emotional and mental” void in his life after father figure, filmmaker Yash Chopra, passed away last week.

The 46-year-old actor along with the entire unit has cancelled the shoot of the last song of Chopra’s film, 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' (JTHJ), in his favourite outdoor location, Switzerland.

SRK very categorically said that there won't be any shooting in Switzerland without Yash Chopra.

However, Yash Chopra's wife Pamela Chopra and Yash Raj Studio will give a fitting farewell to the prolific director with a grand and lavish premiere of the film on November 12.

The premiere will be a celebration and a tribute to mark the filmmaker's 50 years lifespan in the movie industry.

Chopra, who passed away on October 21, had one unfulfilled dream of evoking romance in Switzerland, a country whose scenic beauty has been the backdrop of his many films.

His final shot for his last directorial 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' was a song featuring Katrina Kaif serenading in a chiffon sari at his favourite location - the Swiss Alps, revealed designer Manish Malhotra.

"We were to go to the Swiss Alps to shoot a song with Katrina (Kaif) in a chiffon sari. He discussed the saris with passion and used to tell me that 'I want you to be there at the shoot'," tweeted Malhotra.

Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' will release on November 13.
