Wedding invites confirm Saif, Kareena reception on October 18

The invites are out for the biggest wedding Bollywood has seen since the Bachchan media frenzy following Abhishek’s and Aishwarya’s nuptials.

If you haven’t guessed it already, it is the royal wedding reception of Saif Ali Khan with long-time girlfriend and actress Kareena Kapoor is said to take place on October 18, according to the invite.

Leaked online, the invite skips the flamboyance and kitsch that’s synonymous with Bollywood and opts for a more tasteful and simple design, complete with the royal seal of the Nawab of Pataudis.

The cream coloured wedding invitation has golden script that reads:
Begam Mansur Ali Khan of Pataudi invites you to the Dawat-e-Walima of Saif Ali Khan to Kareena Kapoor, daughter of Randhir and Babita Kapoor.

While details of the venue are not on the invite, it is widely known the wedding is expected to take place at the Pataudi royal palace.

Kareena is expected to wear mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore’s stole that she had worn during her marriage, while the rest of the outfit has been designed by Ritu Beri.

The intimate ceremony is expected to still see Bollywood biggies and some royal families of India to grace it with their presence.
