Will Big B take time off to be with Jr AB's baby?

Amitabh Bachchan had long back become a ‘nana’ when his daughter Shweta Nanda gave birth to two kids. And now comes an equally great moment for the man as he waits for the child who will make him a grandfather.

“I am very anxiously waiting for the child’s arrival. I was unable to give enough time to Shweta and Abhishek during their childhood due to my work. But this time I will make it a point to give most of my time to the newborn. I want to make up for the times when I could not enjoy the childhood of Shweta and Abhi,” says Big B.

Giving complete credit to wife Jaya Bachchan, Amitabh says he is happy to be with her. He says, “Jaya has given me the best gift till date in the form of Shweta and Abhi... the gift which cannot be compared to any other materialistic one. And she had taken out all the time to be with both the kids.”

Not just a superstar but even a super host on television, Amitabh Bachchan is most watched on his show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati. And as grounded as he is despite scaling new peaks each passing year, he says, “This ‘aam aadmi’ kind of concept has brought a lot of satisfaction to me. I can only pray for a good living for all my Indian brothers. We live in Metro cities and fail to understand the plight of the Indians living in the rural areas. Their lives do not permit them to enjoy many privileges which we enjoy here.”
