Cannes 2016: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turns golden diva

If day 1 was Kuwaiti designer Ali Younes, Ash picked Elie Saab for day 2

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turns golden diva at the 69th Cannes Film Festival.

The Indian actress who has always been talked about for her Cannes appearances dazzled the red carpet on Friday in a golden caped dress by Kuwaiti designer Ali Younes.

She walked the Croisette in a metallic sheath overlaid by a sparkly floor-length cape.

Marking her 15th year at the prestigious fest, the 42-year-old was confidence personified with her bold and dramatically done-up eyes accentuating her regal looks.

Aishwarya won the Cannes red carpet a second day in a row, wearing a gold lace gown with an embellished bodice by Elie Saab.

She chose to wear a creation from Saab's 2014 Couture collection. She wore a blush pink beaded gown that looked gorgeous on her.

She rounded her look with a drak lip colour, however, we hope to see the beauty experiment with her hair a bit more.
