Bachchans reject millions for a picture of 'Beti B'

Ever since Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gave birth to a baby girl on November 16, international magazines have been leaving no stone unturned in tempting the Bachchans to sell exclusive images of Beti B.

If media reports are to be believed, the Bachchans were offered Rs5 crore (Dh5 million) by a media organisation in return for those elusive images of the baby and the new parents.

However, Amitabh Bachchan, the patriarch of the Bachchan family and a Bollywood legend, has repeatedly stated on various social networking sites that the family would not go public with Beti B's images. He cited 'personal reasons'.

The star watchers had been hoping to get a glimpse of the infant when Aishwarya was discharged from the hospital but Big B ensured that no one could even get a peep out of her. Ever since the sense of curiosity has heightened among Bachchan fans and followers to see the child who, according to Big B himself, looks exactly like her mother.
