One of the most composed participants in f the Bigg Boss house, Apurva Agnihotri, parted ways with his fellow contestants on the eve of Diwali.

Apurva who entered the show with his wife Shilpa Agnihotri appeared to be low on enthusiasm after Shilpa was eliminated a couple of weeks ago. After bidding her a tearful goodbye, Apurva found solace in a dog named 'Heaven', who entered the house on the same day as his wife's exit.

Apurva believed in playing it safe. He always preferred to stay away from all the controversies and fights, stepping in only when required.

Initially, he took time to open up and get into the game, but came into picture when he chose to go ahead and get a Mohawk as part of a task.
His decision to get this hairdo stunned Shilpa completely and earned a rather violent reaction from her. But at the end of it all, Apurva won the respect and admiration from all his fellow housemates - making the move worth its while.

At times we have seen Shilpa voicing her opinion instead of Apurva. However, being complacent by nature, the harsh words never bothered him. Apart from Shilpa, he was quite close to Kushal Tandon, Kamya Punjabi, Pratyusha Banerjee and Gauhar Khan in the house and spent most of his time in their company.

Speaking about his exit, Apurva said, “My experience on Bigg Boss has been amazing. I always remained true to myself and am happy to be making an exit from the show just a day before Diwali so that I can spend it with my wife and family.

"Needless to say, I will miss the madness that has shrouded my life over the past few weeks and especially some of my new found friends - Kamya, Pratyusha, Gauhar and Kushal. I look forward to spending time with all contestants once the show gets over."
