Bollywood next big wedding: Ahana Deol

The Deol family had a cause for celebration with ‘Dream Girl’ Hema Malini and superstar Dharmendra youngest daughter Ahana Deol getting engaged to Delhi businessman Vaibhav Vora.

However, mother Hema was quoted in the Indian press as saying no wedding date has been finalised.

Ahana’s sister Eesha celebrated the event with a trip down memory lane posting this picture on her Twitter account.

Ahana looked resplendent in a sari and the private ceremony was held in a traditional manner in the presence of both families at the Deol’s residence in Juhu. Both Ahana and Vaibhav exchanged rings and took the blessings of the elders and God.

Coincidentally, the young couple had met at the wedding of Ahana’s sister, Esha Deol around this time, last year and love blossomed between them. The two were very serious about each other and sensing their commitment, both the families gave their consent.

Hema Malini was delighted to announce the engagement and said, “I am glad that Ahana has found someone as her life partner. It is a joyous moment for all of us.

“Vaibhav is a very nice boy. Now, we are waiting for the right date to finalise the wedding. Need your good wishes for Ahana and Vaibhav.”

Ahana is a trained Odissi dancer under renowned Guru Rabindra Atibuddhi, and has done classical stage shows around the world, along with her mother and sister Esha.

Besides classical dancing, Ahana is also interested in designing. With this union, all the children of the Deol family are now officially settled.
