Charlize Theron and Sean Penn have reportedly split up after more than 18 months of dating.

The 'Mad Max: Fury Road' actress, 39, and the 54-year-old actor, who first started dating in late 2013, are said to have secretly ended their engagement in recent weeks.

A source told UsMagazine.com that the South African beauty decided that their romance was over after attending the Cannes Film Festival in France with the 'Milk' star, who proposed during a romantic trip to Paris last November, and her adopted son Jackson, three, last month.

Another source confirmed the news to PEOPLE.com and claimed the former couple, who haven't been spotted together in a number of weeks, stayed under separate roofs.

The insider said Sean, who was previously married to Robin Wright and Madonna, recently pulled his Malibu mansion off the market after putting it up for sale.

The pair also backed out of at least one scheduled event together before the blonde beauty flew to London to film 'The Huntsman'.

Charlize recently claimed Sean was the love of her life.

Speaking about working with him on their upcoming movie 'The Last Face', she told the June issue of Elle magazine: "Putting aside that he's my partner, he's the love of my life; for the first time, I felt that my work was really bleeding into my life and that made it hard. There were moments where I was incredibly unfair to him. And moments where I felt like ... He was incredibly unfair to me. But it makes you realise that no matter how complicated it gets, the priority is the relationship."

Nicole Kidman doesn't celebrate birthdays

Nicole Kidman is never concerned with having a big birthday celebration so long as she gets quality time with husband Keith Urban and their children.

The 'Grace of Monaco' actress - who turns 48 on June 20 - feels she gets "enough attention" throughout the year, so as long as she gets some quality time with husband Keith Urban and their daughters Sunday, seven, and Faith, four, she will enjoy her day.

She said: "I don't really celebrate a big birthday thing. I always say I get enough attention so I don't need anymore. I just like to have my family really close and snuggle."

Nicole and Keith will celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary later this month and though the 'American Idol' judge will be working, they will still take time to be with one another.

She told E! News: "Keith is doing a gig so I'm going with him. I'll be dancing on the side of the stage and kissing him when he comes off.

"[Are we going for dinner?] He's going to organise that."

Meanwhile, Keith has admitted he is learning a lot from his wife - who also has children Isabella, 22, and Connor, 20, from her marriage to Tom Cruise - and their daughters.

He told Us Weekly magazine: "I didn't grow up with any girls in my family, it was just my brother and me and mum and dad.

"Now being in a family that is all girls, I'm learning an enormous amount."

And the 47-year-old singer thinks he and his spouse make a good parenting team.

He said: "Nic and I are very in sync with the way we want to raise our girls.

"[We maintain] a very expressive, artistic house. I'm very comfortable with it."

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's chicken gift

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were given two chickens named after themselves as a gift.

The couple, who got engaged in August 2012, have admitted that they couldn't come up with names for all of their livestock because they had too many at their Bel Air mansion.

She said: "We attempted to do that, but there are 17 of them now. We did get two baby chicks as a gift named Justin and Jen. I've lost track because they all look alike! We use the eggs every day. We make frittatas, carbonara. Justin makes great pasta. I use the eggs in my salad or for snacks. They taste delicious!"

Meanwhile, the 'Cake' actress, 45, admits she still isn't used to wearing her eight-carat diamond engagement ring yet.

She said: "Never! I always play with it. I just think it's so beautiful. I've never had anything so big on my hand. I love it because he picked it, put it into a setting and it's simple. It doesn't feel gaudy."

Justin, 43, also wears a lot of jewellery and Jennifer has no doubt the 'Leftovers' star will proudly wear a wedding ring after they tie the knot.

She said: "Yeah, he's got a lot of hardware. He wears a chain. He has a gold chunky ring. It won't be a problem when we get married: he will just be wearing his ring! It just won't say 'Justin' anymore.

Asked if they are planning to engrave the word Jen, she replied: "Yes, maybe on the inside."

Despite being blissfully happy, the former 'Friends' star insists she doesn't have a perfect life.

She told PEOPLE magazine: "That's a misconception. News flash! I can't say it's a perfect life. I don't know what that looks like. But it's my life. And it's perfect for me."
