Fergie and Josh Duhamel are reportedly planning to adopt.

The couple - who already have 22-month-old son Axl Jack together - are believed to be considering going down the adoption route for their second child.

A source told US' OK! magazine: "They think it's the right time to expand their family."

Meanwhile, an insider previously claimed that Fergie's "obsession" with the gym was halting any plans for her and Josh to have a baby.

They said at the time: "Another baby just doesn't fit in with Fergie's life at the moment [even though Josh is] desperate to have another kid."

Josh has made no secret of the fact he wants a brother or sister for little Axl.

He said: "We've got to be very strategic in our planning for it. But the plan was to always have at least two.

"It's still crazy to think that kid is mine and that we made him. It's like, 'Holy (expletive)! We made him!'"

And whilst the 42-year-old actor would be happy having either a daughter or a son, he is secretly wishing for a boy as he admitted growing up with three sisters taught him girls could be tricky as teenagers.

He said: "[My sisters] taught me that I would be really happy to have another son.

"Girls are great. I would be totally happy to have a girl, but ... they get to be those teenage years and [want] independence, you know? It isn't always easy - especially for the mother."

Selena Gomez inspired by Taylor Swift

Selena Gomez reportedly took inspiration from Taylor Swift on how to write songs about "her personal experiences and heartbreaks" for her new album.

The 'Heart Wants What It Wants' hitmaker is reportedly keen on writing more tracks about her "heartbreaks" and looked to her close pal for advice.

A source said: "Selena's written a lot more songs based on her personal experiences and heartbreaks.

"It was Taylor that she drew inspiration from in that sense, who told her that's something she should really focus on because it's what people, especially young female fans, can relate to."

The 22-year-old singer is also said to be penning tracks for her new album about her tough split from Justin Bieber as well as drawing on inspiration from her friends' break-ups too.

The insider added to HollywoodLife.com: "Selena has written about elements of her relationship with Justin on the new album.

"She's also taken inspiration from stories of her girlfriends' break-ups and heartbreaks, as she aims to make her music more real than it's ever been."

The star's vocal coach Stevie Mackey also recently confirmed Selena had been writing about her split from the 'Baby' hitmaker.

He said: "She doesn't mention him directly. But one could deduce that she is [singing about him]. Most artists sing about their present or past relationships in their music. Selena's no different."
