After a break, Imran Khan returns to Dubai.
The popular Bollywood actor will be joined by co-star Deepika Padukone for the worldwide premiere of their film “Break Ke Baad” on November 24, producers told Emirates 24|7.
The premiere is one of a series of recent high-profile Bollywood events in the country.
"The UAE is a key overseas market for Hindi cinema and the acceptance for Hindi films in this market is extremely positive,” said Sanjeev Lamba, CEO of co-producers Reliance BIG Pictures. “It is an extremely vibrant and contemporary film on relationships and break ups. We are delighted to do the first worldwide showcase of Break Ke Baad with Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone in Dubai."
Kunal Kohli, who has co-produced the film, said it would be a ticketed event, aimed at bringing the actors into contact with their fans.
“Break Ke Baad”, directed by Danish Aslam, has been described as a film about couples growing up together. It centres around a pair of childhood sweethearts (Padukone and Khan) faced with the prospect of a long-distance relationship.
