Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are all set to tie the knot this month on October 16.
The wedding preparations are in full swing and the invitation cards have been sent out to close family friends and relatives.
Now the pre-wedding rituals are also being planned before the actual court wedding for the couple.
According to Indian weddings the bride's family organises a dance and song ritual called the Sangeet.
Of late Sangeet has emerged as one of the most important ritual during the pre-wedding preparations.
People plan out elaborate dances, songs and skits for the would-be bride, groom and their respective families.
And for Saif-Kareena wedding none other than ace film director Karan Johar will choreograph the entire Sangeet ceremony.
Karan is undoubtedly becoming an expert directing and organizing wedding rituals.
Fans know Karan Johar has a niche for romantic films and for sure the filmmaker will utilize all his skills to coordinating the song and dance acts.
Last year he also directed the Sangeet ceremony for Riteish and Genelia at a suburban five star.
Karan had also coordinated the entire Sangeet ceremony for the big Bachchan wedding between Abhishek and Aishwarya in April 2007, will once again be the mastermind behind the acts for Saif - Kareena's sangeet ceremony.
The rehearsals for Saif-Kareena’s Sangeet are underway. Every night the group meets and rehearses their steps, reports Daily Bhaskar.
There are also key performances by all family members and friends. The bride's sister Karisma Kapoor and the groom's sister Soha Ali Khan have prepared special acts.
Kareena's friends will be performing to a medley led by Karan Johar.
The family is taking special precautions to ensure that Saif and Kareena's wedding functions are kept strictly private.
