Nach Baliye 5: The couple who might take the cake away

Call them the daily soap daughter-in-laws or mum-in-laws, these popular stars of the small screen are all set to show a different avatar to their fans.

These stars are all geared up along with their spouses to put their best foot forward and show their dancing skills on ‘Nach Baliye 5’.

The pairs will be judged by some famous faces of the tinsel town: actor Shilpa Shetty, choreographer Terence Lewis and director Sajid Khan.

Here's the final list of those who will set the stage on fire and the dance styles they will do full justice to.

Rahul with wife Dimpy Mahajan and Neelu with hubby Arvind Waghela at the Nach Baliye 5 launch

Rahul Mahajan with wife Dimpy will try their best to give a tough fight to the other contestants. Well, we all know Rahul has two left feet but with Dimpy's help he might sail through as Salsa seems to be her forte.

Commonly known as Bhabho in 'Diya aur Baati Hum', Neelu Waghela will be seen with husband Arvind on the show. She may be on the heavier side but while performing a Rajasthani folk dance – Ghoomar she looked  very graceful.

Among the many popular couples from the small screen, the newly married couple Karan Mehra aka Naitik of Star Plus 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and wife Nisha Rawal will be shaking their leg. Going by his minute long performance at the Star Parivaar awards it looks like this actor has a lot of catch up as far as dancing is concerned. According Emirates 24|7 observation the robotic dance style is the one where he will perform the best.

We will see the 'Dance India Dance' (DID) fame Kunwar Amarjeet along with his lady love Charlie Chauhan from MTV’s ‘Roadies 7’. The fact that these two are ace dancers will make life difficult for other contestants. They can perform any dance form with utmost grace, however Amarjeet is best at comtemporary.

 Smita with husband Ankush Bhansal, Kushal Tandon with girlfriend Elena and Shefali Zariwala with beau Parag Tyagi at the Nach Baliye 5 launch

Smita Bansal, who plays the mother-in-law of Anandi in 'Balika Vadhu' and has just delivered a baby, will participate with husband Ankush. She may not have shown us her dancing skills much but going by the character she plays on her different shows, we believe she will do justice with folk dance.

'Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai' fame Viraat aka Kushal Tondon seems to be a great hip hopper and girl friend Elena Boeva is not far behind in the same dance form.

The sexy 'Kanta Laga' item girl Shefali Zariwala will be seen with her partner Parag Tyagi who is seen in 'Pavitra Rishta'. The voluptuous dancer is best known for her sexy Bollywood moves. We are not worried about her but beau Parag Tyagican has to do some real hard work.

'Dance India Dance' host Jay Bhanushali and wife Mahi Vij who have shown their dancing skills on several stage shows will also be in the competition. Although, they have shown us various dance styles, we think Jay and Mahi will best at the rowdy dance form.

Also participating in the show will be actress Deepshikha with her second husband Keshav. The couple might servive in the show if they do some ballroom dance or else they have to burn their midnight oil to impress the judges.

 Sargun Mehta with beau Ravi Dubey and Suhasi with husband Jaysheel Dhami at Nach Baliye 5 Launch

Better known as Tej from Sony TV’s ‘Saas Bina sasural’ Ravi Dubey will be seen matching steps with ‘Kya Hua Tera Waada’s Bulbul aka Sargun Mehta. The couple may be good dancers individually but both are best in two different dance styles. While Ravi appears to be good in locking and poping, Sargun is excellent in Bollywood. It will be interesting to see the pair matching their steps.

Competing for the prize money is Suhasi Dhami or ‘Aabha’ from ‘Yahan mein Ghar Ghar Kheli’ who will be seen with her IT professional husband Jaysheel Dhami. Suhasi did show her dance skills on DID li’l champs, although she was praised by the judges, we think they were just being kind to her. In our opinion she should be prepared for the worst.
