Pamela Anderson devastated after divorce
Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon are officially divorced and have apologised for "any hurt and embarrassment" they caused their families.
The 'Baywatch' actress and the 47-year-old entrepreneur, who filed court documents seeking to end their marriage for the second time in February, insist they wish each other well and have also apologised for "any hurt and embarrassment" they caused their families.
In a joint statement, the on-again, off-again couple said: "Public divorces can be harsh and cruel - we apologise to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused. We have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on.
"There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste. We wish each other and our families well."
The 47-year-old actress, who has sons Brandon, 18, and Dylan, 17, with ex-husband Tommy Lee, secured a temporary restraining order against Rick last month after claiming he "engaged in repeated acts of harassment and abuse" that caused her to "severe emotional distress."
She later added: "He's acting very erratically which makes me very concerned. I'm concerned about my safety and I'm concerned about the safety of my kids, and their emotional safety too. He has been harassing them, he has been sending nude pictures to my driver that I didn't know he had, that he taken of me without my knowledge. And he is using that to blackmail me."
Pamela and Rick first tied the knot in 2007 but had their marriage annulled two months later.
The pair then rekindled their relationship and remarried in 2014, with Pamela filing for divorce six months later before asking the judge to dismiss her petition.
Pamela Anderson is devastated
Pamela Anderson is "still devastated" over her split from Rick Salomon and has cut off all contact with him.
The 47-year-old actress, whose settled her divorce from the entrepreneur on Monday, has reportedly stopped communicating with him to give herself time and space to heal.
A source close to the pair, who first tied the knot in 2007 but had their marriage annulled two months later before remarrying in 2014, said: "They both went into this hopeful with good intentions. They were trying to revive a difficult past year that was full of empty promises."
The former 'Baywatch' beauty's marriage crumbled for the second time due to their "different philosophies" and lifestyles.
The insider told PEOPLE.com: "Pamela is still devastated as she tried to hold the family together.
"As open-minded as she is, she is still just an old-fashioned, small-town romantic girl - while Rick will always be a city-street kid. Marriage doesn't suit his lifestyle. Still, Pamela will always be the love of his life."
Pals believe the former couple will be friends again in the future.
The source explained: "It has been an emotional roller coaster since their first marriage. We all know they will be friends again one day, but the dramatic divorce took its toll and caused unnecessary grief. Pamela has pushed Rick away completely and will not speak to him. We are sure it is for the best for now."
