Prince Harry 'can't wait to become dad'

Prince Harry is looking forward to starting a family with his girlfriend Meghan Markle but doesn't want to rush into things.

The 32-year-old flame-haired royal may have only been dating his girlfriend Meghan Markle, 35, just under a year but it looks like things are progressing at the speed of light for the couple as he's already thinking about what it'd be like to have a family.

A source told Australia's New Idea: "Having a baby with Meghan is all that Harry talks about at the moment - he can't wait to be a dad."

And, although they're almost certain they want to spend the rest of their lives together, Harry is determined not to dive into things too quickly after watching his own parents Princes Charles and the late Princess Diana go through divorce.

A source said: "Coming from divorced parents himself, Harry is adamant that when he marries, he will marry forever - plus, of course, there's his status to consider.

"Harry is very conscious of his position in the royal family, he takes his duties very seriously, and he has no desire to cause any type of scandal, so he's not going to rush into anything - they haven't even been dating for a full year yet!"

But Harry and Meghan are both reported to be happy with how their relationship is currently progressing.

The insider explained: "Right now Harry and Meghan are very happy with the way things are, they're both super busy with work commitments and they're enjoying still getting to know each other fully."
