Ranbir Kapoor: from fit to flabby

Ranbir Kapoor plans to fatten up for his comic role in Anurag Basu's silent comedy Barfee, earlier titled Silence.

Ranbir's character has been modelled on Charlie Chaplin, whose silent movies will serve as a reference point Basu's film, as well as Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean.

Says a source, "Basu is a big fan of Chaplin's. But Mr Bean is Ranbir's idea. He feels the younger generation needed a far more immediate and ready reference point than Chaplin and Basu too jumped at the idea."

Ranbir wants to look "loose-limbed and flabby" for the role. The food overdose will start in the new year.

Karisma Kapoor's marriage on the rocks again

Buzz about the Sunjay Kapur and Karisma wedding ending grows stronger as Sunjay is spotted in company of divorced Delhi socialite-model, according to media reports in India.
 
Karisma's continuous stay in Mumbai away from her hubby has raised many eyebrows. And now one hears hushed whispers about her hubby's close proximity to the ex-wife of a New York-based wealthy hotelier.  No one knows for sure whether the two are “just friends” or something more.

The couple has one daughter named Samaira, who was born on 11 March 2005. After the birth of her daughter, there was considerable rift between Karisma and Sunjay. The couple had subsequently patched-up. Karisma gave birth to her second child, a baby boy Kiaan Raj Kapoor on March 12, 2010.
 
Insiders state that Karisma had married Sunjay Kapur on the rebound immediately after her breakup with Abhishek Bachchan to whom she was engaged.

Sunjay was earlier married to fashion designer Nandita Mahtani whom he divorced just days before his marriage to Karisma.
