From Sherlock Holmes and Iron Man to Bollywood? Whyever not?

Hollywood star Robert Downey Jr apparently likes the idea of the Bollywood song and dance.

“I would love to do one (a Bollywood film) since I could get to shake my leg in one of those catchy dance numbers!” Mumbai’s DNA newspaper quoted him as saying. “I love musicals and Bollywood films are about catchy and vibrant dance numbers which I believe is the prime USP!”

The “Due Date” star said he’s seen “quite a few” Bollywoood movies and all of them are fantastic. “Bollywood films are fantastic.The kind of diversity and vibrancy they  bring to the screen is phenomenal!” he said.

We hope a Bollywood producer's reading this -- we think he'd be perfectly cast against Kareena Kapoor.

“Due Date” hits cinemas across the UAE on Thursday, November 4.
